2027 Dream Quinceanera Experience

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR BE SELECTED. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE AN APPLICANT’S CHANCES OF BEING SELECTED.

The 2027 Dream Quinceanera Experience is a skill-based promotional contest sponsored by Hector Torres Photography. The selected participant will be determined through the review of eligible applications using the judging criteria described in these Official Rules. This promotion is not a raffle, lottery, or random drawing.

1. Sponsor

The 2027 Dream Quinceañera Experience is sponsored and administered by Hector Torres Photography, Arlington, Texas.

2. Promotion Period

The 2027 Dream Quinceanera Experience begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Time on August 15, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on December 1, 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

All applications must be fully completed and successfully submitted through the official online application form before the Promotion Period closes. Applications received before or after the Promotion Period will not be eligible for consideration.

The Sponsor’s computer and HubSpot submission records will serve as the official timekeeping system for determining when an application was received.

The selected family is expected to be contacted on or about December 15, 2026. The portrait experience is expected to take place between March 1 and June 1, 2027, on a date mutually agreed upon by the Sponsor and the selected family, subject to availability, weather, location access, and other production considerations.

3. Eligibility

The 2027 Dream Quinceanera Experience is open only to residents of the State of Texas who meet all requirements stated in these Official Rules.

To be eligible:

a. Parent or Legal Guardian. The application must be completed and submitted by a parent or legal guardian who is at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.

b. Quinceañera Participant. The young woman identified in the application must be between fourteen (14) and sixteen (16) years of age when the portrait experience takes place and must be planning a Quinceañera celebration during the 2027 calendar year.

c. Required Availability. The applicant and participating family must be available to complete the portrait experience between March 1 and June 1, 2027, on a date selected in coordination with Hector Torres Photography.

d. Location. The portrait experience will take place within the Dallas–Fort Worth area unless the Sponsor approves another location in writing. The selected family is responsible for transportation to and from and all scheduled locations and entry fees associated with the location.

e. Parent or Guardian Authorization. Because the participating Quinceañera may be a minor, the parent or legal guardian must approve her participation and sign all required agreements, model releases, liability releases, and other documents requested by the Sponsor.

f. Application Limit. Only one (1) application may be submitted for the same Quinceañera participant. Duplicate, incomplete, automated, fraudulent, or unauthorized applications may be disqualified.

g. Excluded Individuals. Employees, contractors, photographers, videographers, representatives, and immediate family or household members of Hector Torres Photography are not eligible to participate.

h. Compliance with Rules. Participation is subject to these Official Rules and all applicable federal, state, and local laws. The promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

The Sponsor reserves the right to request reasonable documentation to verify age, Texas residency, parental or legal-guardian authority, the planned 2027 Quinceañera celebration, and compliance with any other eligibility requirement.

Meeting the eligibility requirements permits an application to be considered but does not guarantee selection.

4. How to Enter

During the Promotion Period, an eligible parent or legal guardian may enter the 2027 Dream Quinceanera Experience by visiting the official campaign page at:

The parent or legal guardian must complete and successfully submit the official online application form before 11:59 p.m. Central Time on December 1, 2026.

The application must include all required information, including:

a. Parent or Guardian Information. The applicant’s full name, valid email address, telephone number, and city of residence.

b. Participant Information. The Quinceañera participant’s name, anticipated Quinceañera date, and available venue information.

c. Planning Information. The family’s current photographer status, services of interest, and any other planning information requested on the application.

d. Participant Story. A thoughtful response describing the participant, what makes her special, and why receiving the Dream Quinceanera Experience would be meaningful to her and her family.

e. Required Acknowledgments. The applicant must confirm that they are the participant’s parent or legal guardian, or that they have proper authorization to submit the application, and must agree to these Official Rules.

There is no fee or purchase required to submit an application. Purchasing, booking, or inquiring about any Hector Torres Photography service will not improve an applicant’s likelihood of being selected.

Only applications submitted through the official online application form will be accepted. Applications submitted through social-media comments, direct messages, text messages, telephone calls, email, postal mail, or other methods will not be considered unless expressly authorized by the Sponsor in writing.

Following, liking, commenting, tagging, or sharing Hector Torres Photography content on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or any other platform is appreciated but is not required and will not affect the judging or selection process.

Applications that are incomplete, submitted after the deadline, contain false or misleading information, violate these Official Rules, or cannot reasonably be verified may be disqualified at the Sponsor’s discretion.

Proof that an application was sent does not constitute proof that it was successfully received. The Sponsor’s HubSpot records will determine whether and when an application was received.

5. Application Requirements and Restrictions

Each application must be completed honestly, accurately, and in accordance with these Official Rules.

a. Original Submission. The written story and all information included in the application must be original to the applicant and must accurately represent the participating Quinceañera and her family. Applications containing copied, plagiarized, fabricated, or materially misleading information may be disqualified.

b. Accuracy of Information. The applicant is responsible for ensuring that all names, contact information, dates, eligibility information, and other responses are complete and correct. The Sponsor is not responsible for errors or omissions made by the applicant.

c. One Application Per Participant. Only one application may be submitted for each Quinceañera participant. If multiple applications are received for the same participant, the Sponsor may consider only the first complete application received or may disqualify duplicate submissions at its discretion.

d. No Automated or Fraudulent Entries. Applications generated or submitted using automated systems, bots, scripts, artificial identities, false accounts, or other fraudulent methods are prohibited and may be disqualified.

e. No Social-Media Advantage. Likes, follows, comments, shares, tags, public votes, or other social-media engagement will not increase an applicant’s likelihood of being selected and will not be included in the judging criteria.

f. No Purchase Advantage. Purchasing, booking, reserving, or inquiring about photography, videography, products, consultations, or any other service from Hector Torres Photography will not improve an applicant’s likelihood of being selected.

g. Communication Permission. By submitting an application, the applicant authorizes the Sponsor to contact the applicant regarding application verification, campaign updates, scheduling, selection, and administration of the promotion. This permission does not constitute consent to receive unrelated marketing communications unless the applicant separately opts in.

h. Verification. The Sponsor may request additional information or reasonable documentation to confirm eligibility, parental or legal-guardian authority, residency, age, event date, application authenticity, or any other information provided.

i. Failure to Respond. Failure to respond to a verification request within the time specified by the Sponsor may result in disqualification.

j. Technical Submissions. The Sponsor is not responsible for applications that are lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, interrupted, or not received because of internet failures, form errors, device issues, browser incompatibility, service interruptions, or other technical problems beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control.

k. Prohibited Conduct. Applicants may not attempt to interfere with the application process, compromise the HubSpot form, manipulate campaign records, harass another applicant, misrepresent another family, or engage in conduct that undermines the fairness or integrity of the promotion.

l. Sponsor’s Determination. The Sponsor reserves the right to reject or disqualify any application that violates these Official Rules, contains materially false information, appears fraudulent, or threatens the fairness, integrity, reputation, or lawful administration of the promotion.

Disqualification does not require the Sponsor to provide the applicant with an opportunity to correct a violation, although the Sponsor may permit corrections for minor clerical errors at its discretion.

6. Judging and Selection

All eligible applications will be reviewed and evaluated by an official judging panel appointed by Hector Torres Photography.

The judges will independently review eligible applications using the published judging criteria contained in these Official Rules. After the individual evaluations are completed, the panel may discuss the highest-scoring applications and determine the selected participant.

The decisions of the judging panel and Sponsor will be final and binding in all matters relating to the interpretation of the judging criteria, application scoring, eligibility, and selection, subject to applicable law.

Each eligible application will be evaluated using the following criteria:

a. Story, Character, and Personal Qualities — 40%
The judges will consider the participant’s character, personality, values, accomplishments, resilience, kindness, leadership, creativity, goals, and other qualities that help communicate who she is.

b. Meaning and Potential Impact of the Experience — 30%
The judges will consider why the Dream Quinceanera Experience would be meaningful to the participant and her family and how the experience may help her feel celebrated, confident, and recognized during this important milestone.

c. Thoughtfulness and Completeness of the Application — 20%
The judges will consider whether the application is complete, clear, sincere, detailed, and responsive to the questions presented.

d. Ability to Participate During the Required Timeframe — 10%
The judges will consider whether the participant and family can reasonably participate in the portrait experience between March 1 and June 1, 2027, including travel to the Dallas–Fort Worth area and cooperation with scheduling requirements.

Each judge may assign a numerical score for every criterion. Scores may then be combined or averaged to identify the highest-scoring eligible applications.

The number of applications received will not affect the scoring standards. The selected participant will be determined by the quality of the application as evaluated under these published criteria, not by random selection, public voting, social-media engagement, or purchase history.

If two or more applications receive the same final score, the application receiving the higher score in Story, Character, and Personal Qualities will rank higher. If a tie remains, the application receiving the higher score in Meaning and Potential Impact of the Experience will rank higher. If a tie still remains, the judging panel may conduct an additional review and select the application it determines best fulfills the purpose of the promotion.

The judging panel may identify one or more alternate participants in ranked order in case the initially selected participant is found ineligible, declines the experience, fails to respond, cannot satisfy the required conditions, or is otherwise unable to participate.

The Sponsor is not required to publicly release individual scores, judges’ notes, deliberations, rankings, or information regarding applicants who are not selected.

The selected participant remains subject to eligibility verification, timely response, execution of all required agreements and releases, and full compliance with these Official Rules.

7. Prize Description and Approximate Retail Value

Subject to verification of eligibility and full compliance with these Official Rules, one selected Quinceañera participant will receive the 2027 Dream Quinceanera Experience provided by Hector Torres Photography.

The complimentary experience includes:

a. Professional Hair and Makeup
Professional hair and makeup services for the selected Quinceañera participant on the scheduled portrait-session date. The final styling plan will be coordinated with the participating family and the designated hair and makeup artist.

b. Luxury Quinceañera Portrait Session
A professionally guided portrait experience photographed by Hector Torres Photography. The session will include professional posing, lighting, creative direction, and photography at one or more locations selected or approved by the Sponsor.

c. Signature 24×36 Framed Portrait
One professionally produced 24×36 framed portrait featuring an image selected from the completed portrait experience. The frame style, finish, image selection, and production specifications will be coordinated with or approved by the Sponsor.

d. Cinematic Highlight Film
A short cinematic highlight film documenting selected moments from the hair and makeup preparation and portrait experience. The final length, music, editing style, footage, and creative presentation will be determined by Hector Torres Photography.

e. Private Image Reveal
The selected participant and her parent or legal guardian will receive a private image-reveal experience at a date and time coordinated with Hector Torres Photography.

The approximate retail value of the complete prize is:

$1,950

The approximate retail value is based on the Sponsor’s customary pricing for comparable services and products at the time these Official Rules are published. The actual value may vary depending on the final session design, locations, production requirements, products selected by the Sponsor, and other circumstances.

The prize has no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash, transferred, assigned, sold, auctioned, substituted, or combined with another promotion, discount, package, certificate, or previously booked service.

The prize may be used only by the selected participant named in the winning application. The experience may not be transferred to another child, sibling, relative, friend, client, or family.

The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize component with a product or service of reasonably comparable or greater value if the stated component becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control.

The selected family is not required to purchase additional photographs, products, services, event coverage, or upgrades. Optional products or services requested by the selected family will require a separate written agreement and payment at the Sponsor’s regular pricing.

Awarding the prize is conditioned upon eligibility verification, timely response, scheduling cooperation, completion of required agreements and releases, and compliance with these Official Rules.

8. Expenses and Items Not Included

Except for the prize components specifically listed in Section 7, all other expenses associated with participation in the 2027 Dream Quinceanera Experience are the sole responsibility of the selected participant and her parent or legal guardian.

The prize does not include:

a. Transportation and Travel Expenses
Transportation to and from hair and makeup appointments, portrait locations, image-reveal appointments, product pickup, or any other scheduled activity is not included. Fuel, airfare, rental vehicles, parking, tolls, lodging, meals, and other travel-related expenses are the selected family’s responsibility.

b. Quinceañera Dress and Wardrobe
The Quinceañera dress, shoes, jewelry, crown, accessories, undergarments, wardrobe alterations, cleaning, steaming, repairs, and additional outfits are not included.

c. Venue and Location Costs
Admission charges, photography permits, reservation fees, venue rentals, location-access fees, parking charges, animal rentals, carriage rentals, floral installations, props, or other third-party location expenses are not included unless the Sponsor expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

d. Event-Day Photography or Videography
Photography, videography, content creation, livestreaming, or other coverage of the participant’s actual Quinceañera ceremony, reception, Mass, party, rehearsal, or related event is not included.

e. Additional Images, Products, or Services
Digital images, prints, wall art, albums, videos, additional retouching, extra session time, additional locations, additional participants, upgraded products, rush production, and other items not specifically listed in Section 7 are not included.

f. Additional Hair and Makeup Services
Hair and makeup for the participant’s parent, family members, court, friends, or other individuals is not included. Trial appointments, hair extensions, specialty accessories, and services beyond the final approved styling plan may require additional payment.

g. Personal and Incidental Expenses
Meals, refreshments, childcare, pet care, wardrobe assistance, personal purchases, gratuities, and other incidental expenses are not included.

h. Taxes and Government Charges
Any federal, state, or local taxes, reporting obligations, fees, or other charges arising from acceptance or use of the prize are the responsibility of the selected participant’s parent or legal guardian, to the extent required by law.

The selected family will not be required to purchase any additional service or product as a condition of receiving the prize.

Any optional upgrade, additional service, product, location, participant, or expense requested by the selected family must be approved by Hector Torres Photography and documented in a separate written agreement. The selected family will be responsible for all approved additional costs.

The Sponsor is not responsible for reimbursing expenses incurred without the Sponsor’s prior written approval.

10. Agreements, Releases, and Publicity Permission

As a condition of receiving and participating in the 2027 Dream Quinceanera Experience, the selected participant’s parent or legal guardian must review, sign, and return all agreements and releases reasonably required by Hector Torres Photography.

Because the selected Quinceañera participant may be a minor, all permissions, approvals, and releases must be provided by her parent or legal guardian.

a. Parent or Legal-Guardian Consent

The parent or legal guardian must provide written consent authorizing the selected participant to take part in the portrait experience, hair and makeup services, photography, video recording, image reveal, and other activities included in the prize.

b. Photography and Video Release

The parent or legal guardian must authorize Hector Torres Photography and its approved photographers, videographers, hair and makeup professionals, assistants, contractors, and production partners to photograph, film, record, and otherwise document the selected participant during the Dream Quinceanera Experience.

The release may permit the Sponsor to edit, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, and create promotional materials from the resulting photographs, video footage, audio recordings, and related content, subject to the terms of the final written release.

c. Publicity Permission

Unless prohibited by law, the selected participant’s parent or legal guardian may be asked to authorize Hector Torres Photography to use the selected participant’s first name, general city or region of residence, likeness, photographs, video footage, voice, biographical information, and portions of her submitted story in connection with announcing, documenting, and promoting the Dream Quinceanera Experience.

Any public use involving the selected minor will be subject to the written permission granted by her parent or legal guardian.

d. Campaign Announcement

Hector Torres Photography may announce the selected participant through its website, social-media pages, email communications, blog, press materials, and other promotional channels after eligibility has been verified and all required permissions have been signed.

The Sponsor will not publish the selected participant’s home address, private telephone number, personal email address, school name, or other sensitive identifying information unless separately authorized in writing or required by law.

e. Submitted Story and Application Content

By submitting an application, the parent or legal guardian represents that the written story and other application content are truthful, original, and submitted with proper authority.

Application materials will initially be used for administration, verification, and judging. Hector Torres Photography will not publicly publish an applicant’s personal story, photographs, or identifying information solely because an application was submitted, unless the parent or legal guardian separately authorizes that use in writing.

Applications from families who are not selected will not automatically be used for public promotional purposes.

f. Creative Control

Hector Torres Photography will retain reasonable artistic and creative control over the photography, filming, posing, lighting, locations, production schedule, editing, retouching, music selection, image selection, framing, presentation, and final delivery of the prize.

The selected family acknowledges that creative results are subjective and that the prize does not guarantee any specific pose, background, location, image count, video duration, editing style, publication placement, or social-media response beyond what is expressly included in Section 7.

g. Copyright and Personal Use

Unless otherwise stated in the final written agreement, all copyrights in photographs, video footage, films, edits, and other creative works produced by Hector Torres Photography will remain the property of Hector Torres Photography.

The selected family will receive personal-use rights only to the photographs, products, or media specifically delivered as part of the prize. Commercial use, resale, alteration, filtering, unauthorized editing, removal of branding, or licensing to third parties is prohibited unless the Sponsor provides prior written permission.

h. Liability Release

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the selected participant’s parent or legal guardian may be required to release and hold harmless Hector Torres Photography, the judging panel, participating hair and makeup professionals, assistants, contractors, locations, vendors, and their respective owners, employees, and representatives from claims arising from participation in the promotion or acceptance and use of the prize, except where such a release is prohibited or limited by applicable law.

The final release will not waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

i. Refusal or Failure to Sign

If the selected participant’s parent or legal guardian refuses or fails to sign and return the required agreements, consents, and releases within the deadline provided by the Sponsor, the participant may be disqualified and the prize may be offered to an eligible alternate.

j. No Obligation for Unselected Applicants

Applicants who are not selected will not be required to sign a model release, publicity release, portrait-session agreement, or liability release merely because they submitted an application.

9. Selected Participant Notification and Acceptance

The participant whose application receives the highest final score, subject to eligibility verification and compliance with these Official Rules, will be designated as the potential selected participant.

The Sponsor expects to contact the potential selected participant’s parent or legal guardian on or about December 15, 2026, using the email address and/or telephone number provided in the application.

The potential selected participant is not officially selected until all required eligibility, verification, acceptance, and documentation requirements have been completed to the Sponsor’s satisfaction.

a. Response Deadline

The potential selected participant’s parent or legal guardian must respond to the Sponsor within five (5) calendar days after the first notification attempt, unless the Sponsor provides a different deadline in writing.

Failure to respond within the required timeframe may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate participant.

b. Verification

The Sponsor may require reasonable documentation confirming the participant’s age, Texas residency, planned 2027 Quinceañera celebration, parental or legal-guardian authority, identity, and compliance with all eligibility requirements.

c. Required Documents

Before the prize is confirmed, the parent or legal guardian may be required to sign and return documents including, but not limited to:

• An eligibility and prize-acceptance agreement

• A parent or legal-guardian consent form

• Photography, video, model, and publicity releases

• A liability release

• A portrait-session agreement

• Any location, hair and makeup, production, or scheduling documents reasonably required by the Sponsor

d. Scheduling

The selected family must cooperate with the Sponsor in scheduling the portrait experience between March 1 and June 1, 2027.

The final session date, time, location, and production schedule will be determined by mutual coordination and will remain subject to the Sponsor’s availability, weather, location access, hair and makeup availability, safety conditions, and other reasonable production considerations.

e. Inability to Participate

If the potential selected participant is determined to be ineligible, declines the prize, fails to respond, fails to provide requested documentation, cannot participate within the required timeframe, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, the Sponsor may disqualify that participant and offer the prize to the next highest-ranked eligible alternate.

f. No Fees to Accept the Prize

The selected family will not be required to pay an entry fee, processing fee, administrative fee, or other charge to accept the prize.

The selected family remains responsible only for expenses specifically identified as not included in Section 8 and for any optional upgrades or additional services voluntarily requested under a separate written agreement.

g. Announcement

The Sponsor may publicly announce the selected participant only after eligibility has been verified, all required documents have been signed, and the parent or legal guardian has approved the announcement.

Until that time, all communications identifying a potential selected participant should be considered confidential and unofficial.

h. Alternate Participants

The judging panel may maintain a ranked list of alternate participants. An alternate may be contacted if the initially selected participant is unable or unwilling to complete the acceptance process.

Contacting an alternate does not guarantee that the alternate will receive the prize until all verification and acceptance requirements are completed.

12. Privacy and Use of Applicant Information

Hector Torres Photography respects the privacy of applicants and participants and will use information submitted through the 2027 Dream Quinceanera Experience only as reasonably necessary to administer the promotion, evaluate applications, communicate with families, verify eligibility, select the recipient, coordinate the prize, comply with legal obligations, and protect the integrity of the promotion.

a. Information Collected

The application may collect information including:

• The parent or legal guardian’s name, email address, telephone number, and city

• The participant’s name, age or date-related eligibility information, Quinceañera date, and venue information

• Photography and planning preferences

• The participant’s submitted story and related application responses

• Technical and submission information generated through the website, HubSpot form, or related systems

• Additional information reasonably requested to verify eligibility or administer the promotion

b. Parent-Led Application Process

The application must be submitted by the participant’s parent or legal guardian, or by an adult who has proper authorization from the participant’s parent or legal guardian.

The promotion is not intended to collect applications directly from children. A participant should not independently submit personal information through the application form.

COPPA primarily regulates online collection from children under 13 and gives parents control over that information. Keeping the application adult-led and collecting consent from the parent or legal guardian is the appropriate structure for this campaign.

c. Permitted Uses

Applicant information may be used to:

• Receive, organize, and review applications

• Determine eligibility and verify submitted information

• Allow the official judging panel to evaluate applications

• Contact applicants regarding questions, verification, deadlines, campaign updates, selection, or scheduling

• Coordinate hair and makeup, photography, video, locations, products, and other prize components

• Maintain promotion records and prevent duplicate, fraudulent, or unauthorized applications

• Respond to legal requirements or protect the rights, property, safety, and legitimate interests of the Sponsor, participants, judges, vendors, or others

• Measure campaign performance using aggregated or non-identifying information

d. Access by Judges and Service Providers

Application information may be provided to the official judging panel solely for evaluating eligible applications.

Information may also be processed or accessed by service providers reasonably necessary to administer the promotion, including HubSpot, Squarespace, email providers, website-hosting providers, technology vendors, photographers, videographers, hair and makeup professionals, production partners, and professional advisers.

Those parties should receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their assigned function and may be subject to their own privacy policies and contractual obligations.

e. Marketing Communications

Submission of an application authorizes Hector Torres Photography to send communications directly related to the administration of the Dream Quinceanera Experience.

Consent to receive unrelated promotional emails, planning tips, special offers, or general marketing communications will be requested separately where applicable. Declining optional marketing communications will not affect eligibility, judging, or selection.

Applicants who voluntarily opt in to marketing communications may unsubscribe through the method provided in those communications.

f. Publicity and Publication

Application submission alone does not authorize Hector Torres Photography to publicly publish an applicant’s full story, photographs, private contact information, or other identifying information.

Information identifying the selected participant will be publicly used only after eligibility verification and receipt of appropriate written permission from the parent or legal guardian, as described in Section 10.

Information from unselected applicants will not be publicly disclosed for promotional purposes without separate permission.

g. Protection of Sensitive Information

Applicants should not include unnecessary sensitive information in their stories, including Social Security numbers, financial-account information, medical records, school schedules, passwords, precise home addresses, or other information not requested by the application.

Hector Torres Photography will not intentionally request Social Security numbers, banking information, payment-card information, or similar financial credentials as part of the application process.

h. Data Security

Hector Torres Photography will use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect applicant information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no website, email system, online form, database, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Applicants submit information with an understanding of the ordinary risks associated with electronic communications.

Texas’s Data Privacy and Security Act establishes privacy protections and consumer rights for Texas residents, although whether every statutory obligation applies to a particular small business depends on the law’s scope and exemptions.

i. Retention

Applicant information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the promotion, resolve questions or disputes, comply with recordkeeping and legal obligations, maintain evidence of proper administration, and protect the Sponsor’s legitimate interests.

Information that is no longer reasonably necessary will be deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of in accordance with the Sponsor’s retention practices and applicable law.

j. Requests Regarding Applicant Information

A parent or legal guardian may contact Hector Torres Photography to request reasonable access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information submitted through the application, subject to legal, recordkeeping, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and promotion-administration requirements.

Requests should include enough information to allow the Sponsor to reasonably verify the requester’s identity and authority.

Texas law permits a parent or legal guardian to exercise certain privacy rights on behalf of a known child where the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies.

l. Third-Party Websites and Platforms

The campaign page or application may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services. Hector Torres Photography is not responsible for the independent privacy practices, security measures, availability, or content of those third parties.

Applicants are encouraged to review the privacy policies of HubSpot, Squarespace, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and any other platform they choose to use in connection with the promotion.

11. General Conditions and Sponsor’s Rights

By submitting an application, the applicant agrees to comply with these Official Rules and accepts the decisions of Hector Torres Photography and the official judging panel as final and binding, subject to applicable law.

The Sponsor will administer the 2027 Dream Quinceanera Experience in a manner intended to preserve fairness, integrity, transparency, and appropriate treatment of all eligible applicants.

a. Right to Verify and Disqualify

The Sponsor reserves the right to verify any application, applicant, participant, eligibility requirement, statement, document, or other information submitted in connection with the promotion.

The Sponsor may disqualify an applicant or participant who:

• Violates these Official Rules

• Provides false, incomplete, misleading, or unverifiable information

• Attempts to submit duplicate or unauthorized applications

• Tampers with the application form, judging process, website, or campaign records

• Uses automated systems, bots, scripts, artificial identities, or fraudulent methods

• Harasses, threatens, impersonates, or misrepresents another applicant, judge, vendor, or Sponsor representative

• Engages in conduct that threatens the fairness, safety, integrity, lawful operation, or reputation of the promotion

b. Right to Cancel, Suspend, Extend, or Modify

The Sponsor reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to cancel, suspend, extend, postpone, or modify the promotion or any portion of it if fraud, technical failure, severe weather, natural disaster, public emergency, illness, venue closure, vendor unavailability, governmental action, security concern, or another circumstance beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control materially affects the fair, safe, or proper administration of the promotion.

Any material change will be communicated through the official campaign page, the Official Rules page, email, social media, or another reasonable method.

If the Promotion Period is modified after applications have been received, the Sponsor may evaluate eligible applications received before the interruption or take another fair and reasonable action consistent with the purpose of the promotion.

Similar sponsor-reservation language appears in formal FTC contest rules for situations involving fraud, technical failures, or other factors that impair a contest’s integrity.

c. Changes to Dates, Locations, or Production Details

The Sponsor may reasonably adjust the portrait-session date, time, location, hair and makeup schedule, image-reveal date, product-delivery date, or other production details because of weather, safety, availability, location restrictions, illness, equipment failure, transportation disruption, or other reasonable production considerations.

The Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to coordinate material scheduling changes with the selected family but cannot guarantee any specific date, season, location, background, vendor, or creative concept.

d. Safety and Appropriate Conduct

The selected participant and accompanying family members must follow all reasonable safety instructions, location rules, vendor requirements, and production directions provided by the Sponsor or participating professionals.

The Sponsor may discontinue, relocate, postpone, or end any activity if conditions become unsafe or if a participant, family member, guest, or accompanying person engages in disruptive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, illegal, reckless, or inappropriate conduct.

Discontinuation caused by the conduct of the selected participant or accompanying family may result in forfeiture of some or all remaining prize components.

e. Availability of Prize Components

If a photographer, videographer, hair and makeup professional, frame, product, location, or other stated component becomes unavailable, the Sponsor may provide a reasonably comparable substitute when practical.

A substitution does not entitle the selected family to cash, a refund, or an additional product or service.

f. No Guarantee of Selection or Outcome

Submission of an application does not guarantee an interview, consultation, finalist position, selection, publication, photography session, product, discount, or other benefit.

The Sponsor does not guarantee any particular emotional, professional, social-media, publicity, commercial, or personal outcome from participation in the promotion or receipt of the prize.

g. Errors and Omissions

The Sponsor may correct typographical, clerical, formatting, technical, or administrative errors in the campaign page, application form, promotional materials, or Official Rules, provided that any correction does not unfairly alter the judging criteria or materially disadvantage applicants.

If promotional material conflicts with these Official Rules, these Official Rules will control to the fullest extent permitted by law.

h. Applicant Communications

Applicants are responsible for providing accurate contact information and monitoring their email, voicemail, spam, junk, and filtered-message folders for communications related to the promotion.

The Sponsor is not responsible for missed communications caused by inaccurate information, blocked messages, full inboxes, carrier restrictions, spam filtering, device settings, or an applicant’s failure to review messages.

i. No Waiver

The Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules in a particular situation will not constitute a waiver of that provision or prevent the Sponsor from enforcing it later.

If any provision is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

j. Interpretation of the Rules

Questions concerning interpretation or application of these Official Rules will be resolved by the Sponsor in consultation with the judging panel when appropriate.

The Sponsor’s decisions regarding administration, eligibility, verification, judging, tie-breaking, scheduling, substitutions, and compliance will be final and binding, subject to applicable law.

13. Limitation of Liability and Release of Claims

By submitting an application, each applicant acknowledges that participation in the 2027 Dream Quinceanera Experience involves ordinary risks associated with online submissions, travel, hair and makeup services, portrait photography, video production, outdoor or indoor locations, weather conditions, wardrobe, posing, walking, standing, transportation, and interaction with third-party vendors or locations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the applicant agrees that Hector Torres Photography will not be responsible for losses, damages, injuries, delays, or claims arising from circumstances beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control.

a. Released Parties

For purposes of this section, the “Released Parties” include Hector Torres Photography; Hector Torres; Cecilia Torres; the official judges; photographers; videographers; hair and makeup professionals; assistants; contractors; production partners; participating locations and vendors; and each of their respective owners, employees, agents, and representatives.

b. Release Relating to Entry and Administration

To the fullest extent permitted by law, applicants release and hold harmless the Released Parties from claims arising from:

• Submission, receipt, review, processing, or loss of an application

• Technical failures, internet interruptions, website errors, form malfunctions, data-transmission problems, or incompatible devices or browsers

• Inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, corrupted, or misdirected applications or communications

• Judging, verification, notification, scheduling, administration, or enforcement of these Official Rules

• An applicant’s failure to receive or respond to an email, telephone call, text message, or other communication

Formal FTC contest rules commonly include releases tied to participation and prize administration, while keeping those releases subject to applicable law.

c. Participation and Prize-Related Risks

The selected participant’s parent or legal guardian will be required to sign a separate liability release before the portrait experience takes place.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the selected family assumes the ordinary risks associated with accepting and participating in the prize, including travel, weather, locations, wardrobe, hair and makeup products, posing, walking, standing, props, animals, vehicles, equipment, and other activities approved for the portrait experience.

The selected family must disclose any known allergies, sensitivities, mobility concerns, safety concerns, or other circumstances that may reasonably affect participation.

d. Third-Party Products, Services, and Locations

The Sponsor is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, policies, products, services, availability, safety practices, or contractual requirements of third-party locations, vendors, transportation providers, hair and makeup professionals, property owners, or other outside parties.

Nothing in these Official Rules creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, agency, or ownership relationship between the Sponsor and an independent third party.

e. Weather, Delays, and Cancellations

The Released Parties will not be liable for delays, postponements, location changes, substitutions, interruptions, or cancellations caused by weather, natural disaster, illness, emergency, governmental action, location closure, transportation disruption, vendor unavailability, safety concerns, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond their reasonable control.

When reasonably possible, the Sponsor may reschedule or substitute affected prize components, but no particular date, location, season, vendor, or creative concept is guaranteed.

f. No Guarantee Regarding Results

The Sponsor does not guarantee:

• A particular number of photographs or video clips beyond the prize description

• Any specific pose, location, background, weather condition, hairstyle, makeup result, image, edit, film length, publication, or social-media response

• That the experience will produce a particular personal, emotional, promotional, commercial, or financial outcome

• Compatibility of the final images or video with every device, screen, printer, platform, or third-party service

g. Maximum Available Remedy

To the fullest extent permitted by law, if the Sponsor is unable to provide a stated prize component because of circumstances within the Sponsor’s reasonable control, the Sponsor’s obligation will be limited to providing a reasonably comparable substitute or another remedy the Sponsor determines appropriate under the circumstances.

The selected family will not be entitled to indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or special damages arising from participation in the promotion or acceptance of the prize, except where such limitations are prohibited by law.

h. Rights That Cannot Be Waived

Nothing in these Official Rules is intended to exclude, limit, or waive liability or legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, limited, or waived.

Any release, limitation, or disclaimer in these Official Rules will apply only to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

This last paragraph is important. A liability provision should not claim to erase rights that the law does not allow someone to waive. Texas also directs that contests be administered with maximum disclosure and fair treatment of participants.

i. Separate Selected-Family Agreement

The liability terms applicable to the actual portrait session, hair and makeup services, locations, photography, video production, products, and delivery will also be addressed in separate written agreements signed by the selected participant’s parent or legal guardian.

If a separate signed agreement provides more specific terms concerning the portrait experience, those terms will govern that particular activity to the extent they do not conflict with applicable law.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Official Rules, the 2027 Dream Quinceanera Experience, and any dispute arising from or relating to the promotion will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

The parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve any disagreement informally before beginning formal legal proceedings.

a. Informal Resolution

Before filing a lawsuit or initiating arbitration, the applicant or selected family must provide Hector Torres Photography with written notice describing the dispute, the relevant facts, the requested resolution, and appropriate contact information.

The parties will have thirty (30) calendar days after receipt of the notice to attempt to resolve the dispute informally, unless both parties agree to extend that period.

b. Individual Disputes Only

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim or dispute must be brought in the individual applicant’s or selected family’s own name and not as a plaintiff, claimant, representative, or member in a class action, collective action, consolidated proceeding, representative action, or private-attorney-general action.

The parties waive the right to seek relief on behalf of anyone other than themselves, except where such a waiver is prohibited by law.

c. Arbitration

If the parties cannot resolve a dispute informally, the dispute may be submitted to binding individual arbitration if both parties are legally bound by a valid written arbitration agreement applicable to that dispute.

Any arbitration will be conducted in accordance with the Texas Arbitration Act and any other applicable arbitration law. The arbitrator will have authority to award only the relief available to the individual claimant under applicable law.

Arbitration will take place in Tarrant County, Texas, unless the parties agree to another location or remote proceeding in writing.

Texas law generally recognizes written agreements to arbitrate qualifying disputes as valid and enforceable.

d. Court Proceedings and Venue

If arbitration does not apply, is not enforceable, or is not mutually agreed upon where required, any court proceeding arising from or relating to the promotion must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Tarrant County, Texas, to the extent permitted by law.

Each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waives objections based on inconvenient forum, except where such consent or waiver is prohibited by law.

Nothing in this provision prevents a party from filing an eligible matter in small-claims court or seeking temporary injunctive relief when reasonably necessary to prevent immediate and irreparable harm.

Texas venue rules generally look to where material events occurred, where a defendant resides, or where an entity has its principal office, although mandatory or statutory venue rules can override a contractual provision.

e. Available Remedies

Any remedy will be limited to relief available under applicable law and appropriate to the individual dispute.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party will be entitled to recover punitive, exemplary, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the promotion, except where such damages are expressly permitted and cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

f. Attorneys’ Fees and Costs

Each party will generally be responsible for its own attorneys’ fees and costs unless an applicable statute, court order, arbitration award, or separate signed agreement permits or requires a different allocation.

g. Time for Bringing a Claim

Any claim must be brought within the period allowed by applicable law.

Nothing in these Official Rules is intended to shorten a legally required limitation period where such a limitation would be unlawful or unenforceable.

h. Severability

If any portion of this section is held invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that portion will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining portions will continue in effect.

If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable with respect to a particular claim, that claim may proceed in court rather than arbitration, unless applicable law requires a different result.

i. Rights That Cannot Be Waived

Nothing in this section eliminates or limits any consumer right, statutory remedy, jurisdiction, venue, or procedural protection that cannot lawfully be waived.

These Official Rules are intended to provide maximum disclosure and fair treatment to applicants, consistent with Texas law governing contests and gift giveaways. 

14. Social-Media Platform Disclaimer

The 2027 Dream Quinceanera Experience may be promoted through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or other social-media platforms. However, the promotion is sponsored and administered solely by Hector Torres Photography.

a. No Platform Sponsorship

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta Platforms, Inc., ByteDance Ltd., Google LLC, or any other social-media or technology platform on which the promotion may be advertised or discussed.

b. Release of Social-Media Platforms

By participating, each applicant releases Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives from claims arising from or relating to the promotion, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Applicants understand that they are providing their application information to Hector Torres Photography and not to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or another social-media platform.

Meta’s promotion rules specifically require a complete release of Facebook and acknowledgment that a promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. Instagram uses substantially similar requirements.

c. Social-Media Activity Is Not Required

Following, liking, sharing, commenting, tagging friends, reposting content, creating videos, or otherwise interacting with Hector Torres Photography on social media is appreciated but is not required to enter and will not affect eligibility, judging, scoring, or selection.

An applicant will not receive additional consideration, bonus points, additional entries, or a greater likelihood of selection based on social-media activity.

d. No Entry Through Social Media

Comments, direct messages, tags, shares, posts, stories, videos, reactions, or other social-media activity will not constitute an official application.

To be considered, an eligible parent or legal guardian must complete and submit the official online application form during the Promotion Period.

e. Sharing and Tagging

Applicants and supporters may voluntarily share information about the promotion, provided that they do not make false or misleading claims, impersonate Hector Torres Photography, misrepresent the prize, publish another family’s private information, or suggest that a social-media platform is sponsoring or selecting the recipient.

Applicants should not tag individuals without permission or post personal information about a minor that the minor’s parent or legal guardian has not approved for public disclosure.

f. Platform Rules and Account Availability

Applicants remain responsible for complying with the terms, community standards, privacy policies, and other rules of any social-media platform they use.

Hector Torres Photography is not responsible for suspended accounts, deleted posts, unavailable profiles, restricted content, algorithm changes, blocked messages, platform outages, or other actions taken by a social-media platform.

g. Social-Media Announcements

Campaign reminders and the selected-participant announcement may be posted on Hector Torres Photography’s official social-media accounts.

Social-media announcements are informational only. Official notification of the potential selected participant will be sent directly to the parent or legal guardian using the contact information provided in the application.

h. Impersonation and Fraud Warning

Hector Torres Photography will not require applicants to provide passwords, banking credentials, payment-card information, gift-card numbers, or payment to claim the prize.

Applicants should disregard and report any account or message requesting payment or claiming to represent Hector Torres Photography unless the communication can be independently verified through the Sponsor’s official website, email address, or telephone number.

i. No Responsibility for Third-Party Content

Hector Torres Photography is not responsible for comments, posts, videos, messages, opinions, or other content created by applicants, supporters, social-media users, or unrelated third parties.

The Sponsor may hide, delete, report, or restrict content that is abusive, deceptive, threatening, discriminatory, unlawful, unrelated, or harmful to the integrity of the promotion.

c. Controlling Version

If any advertisement, social-media post, email, graphic, interview, verbal statement, application instruction, or other promotional material conflicts with these Official Rules, the Official Rules published on the Sponsor’s website will control to the fullest extent permitted by law.

d. Questions Do Not Extend Deadlines

Contacting the Sponsor with a question does not extend the application deadline, response deadline, document-return deadline, scheduling requirement, or any other deadline stated in these Official Rules unless the Sponsor provides a written extension.

e. No Applications Through Contact Channels

Applications may not be submitted through email, telephone, text message, social-media message, postal mail, or another contact method.

Eligible applications must be submitted through the official online application form during the Promotion Period unless the Sponsor expressly authorizes another method in writing.

f. Accessibility and Technical Assistance

An applicant who experiences a technical or accessibility issue with the campaign page or application form may contact the Sponsor before the application deadline.

The Sponsor may provide reasonable technical assistance but cannot guarantee that an issue reported near or after the deadline can be corrected in time.

Technical assistance will not permit an applicant to avoid the eligibility requirements, required questions, judging criteria, or submission deadline.

g. Requests for a Copy of the Rules

A parent or legal guardian may request a copy of these Official Rules by contacting Hector Torres Photography using the information above.

The Sponsor may provide the rules electronically or direct the requester to the Official Rules page.

h. Records and Winner Information

The Sponsor may retain promotion records, applications, scoring documentation, verification materials, acceptance documents, and communications for a reasonable period following completion of the promotion.

Information regarding the selected participant will be released only after eligibility verification, completion of required documents, and receipt of appropriate parental or legal-guardian permission.

i. Final Acknowledgment

By submitting an application, the applicant acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to review these Official Rules and agree to be bound by them and by the final decisions of the Sponsor and official judging panel, subject to applicable law.

Texas Chapter 621 states that contest laws should be interpreted to provide maximum disclosure and fair treatment to participants, which supports keeping the current rules easy to locate and making clear that they control over shorter promotional materials.

Conflicts of Interest. A judge must disclose any personal, family, financial, business, or professional relationship with an applicant or participant that could reasonably affect, or appear to affect, the judge’s impartiality. The Sponsor may require that judge to abstain from reviewing or scoring the affected application. If a judge abstains, the remaining qualified judges will evaluate that application, and the Sponsor may appoint a replacement judge if reasonably necessary.
