Q. I am needing some help. My daughter just asked me today for a Quinceanera. She will be 15 next yr in June. I feel like I have time to plan. But I have never attended a Quinceanera before. I have no idea what I am doing.

A. Look for groups or other parents that have had experience, research, or ask the pros for their opinion. Google, Facebook, Instagram even TikTock are perfect resources for information.

Incorporate sports into your Quinceanera

Q. My daughter is a softball player. Has anyone incorporated softball into their Quinceanera, and if so, what did you do?

A. Sports or any activity can be implemented to her Quinceanera, either during their portrait session ot the event.

Q. Has a Quinceanera not want a traditional 15? My daughter wants the party with a dress and church but doesn't want the court, the dance etc. she hates being the center of attention. I told her she can have whatever she wants as she really deserves it, but her father said it's a waste of $ to just have a party and not do all the traditional things. Not to mention we are short on time too. Her birthday is end of April. I want to proceed with just the party she wants but her dad wants to wait till she's 16 and do more of a traditional quince. Any input/advice/experiences are welcome.

A. There is no right or wrong answer, as many parents have made small or intimate Quinceanera events without all the bells and whistles and the party was still amazing. It's all about what you want and what you can schedule/book in short notice.
